Word-sense. explores the frictions between digital natives and smartphone-based predictive text. Embedded within predictive text is the sum of the colonial hierarchies that build infrastructures: technological, linguistic, institutional, or otherwise. The“improved” sentence carries the weight of its own inadequacy by being rendered unusable.
